Program update: August 21, 2026

For nearly 30 years, iLoveSeattle.org has helped hometown organizations share their events with the community.

We're proud of that history. Now, we're rethinking what a trusted community calendar should look like in an AI world. In June 2026, our open submission form began receiving hundreds of automated fake-event submissions. Rather than simply putting up more barriers, we're using the opportunity to build a better system, one centered on real organizations, worthwhile events and useful local information.

Our new contributor program is primarily by invitation. We also consider requests from organizations whose events fit our editorial interests. Most requests are not accepted, and we are adding new contributors gradually as we develop and stabilize the new system.
