The 2023 MLB First-Year Player Draft will take place in Seattle from Sunday, July 9 through Tuesday, July 11, as part of 2023 MLB All-Star Week. Opening night of the Draft will be set at Lumen Field inside PLAY BALL PARK on Sunday, July 9 at 4 p.m. PT, featuring the first two rounds, compensatory round(s) and competitive balance rounds. The new Draft location allows more fans than ever a chance to see their favorite teams select the next generation of stars.
