Event Overview

What is the Clipper Round the World Race? It is an Around the World sailboat race that anyone can sign up for! You can sign up for one leg or all of them. This is not your ordinary cruise. You will be one of the crew. All training is provided as part of the trip.

The Clipper racing vessels will be arriving in Seattle from their journey across the Pacific between April 21 and April 26. This page will be updated as the arrival window becomes more certain. While in Port, the public will be able to visit these racing boats on Seattle’s waterfront. On May 3, the fleet will depart together for the next leg of the race – destination Panama.

Why does Seattle need this directory?

1

Covid has ruined the travel plans of so many people.  Maybe you are one of them.  Family trips, honeymoons, first time overseas trips postponed and cancelled.  Please explore this directory to create your own Round-the-World experience without traveling far from Seattle.

2

Believe it or not, in 2022, New York City passed a law granting non-US citizens the right to vote in certain local and municipal elections.  Will Seattle follow NYC?  Time will tell.  If that comes to be, then this directory should be indispensable.  Let us know what you think.
