INHERITANCE - Local Seattle Film Screening

On behalf of Emergence Films, a women-led production company based in Seattle and London that champions female filmmakers from around the world, we’re proud to announce that our feature film, INHERITANCE, which was shot locally in Seattle, is making its limited theatrical run here in the Bainbridge and West Seattle area. We would love to invite you to one of our screenings – tickets are limited, so make sure to come with family and friends to see this wonderful film!

Directed by Emily Moss Wilson and starring Bainbridge Local Rachel Noll James (who wrote and co-produced the film with Emergence Films’ co-founder, Sienna Beckman), as well as Cynthia Geary, Austin Highsmith Garces, Wes Brown, Michelle Hurd, and Chris Mulkey.

The film centers on estranged sisters Lucy and Paige, who reunite after years of separation to bury their father. In the process, they become entangled in the complicated web of their past as they realize that they have inherited more from their father than just money.

The film made its world debut at Dances With Films in 2024, and was an Official Selection of the Poulsbo Film Festival, Vashon Island Film Festival, Twin Cities Film Festival and Sunscreen Film Festival.
