Kent Summer Concerts presents James Coates

Thursdays at the Lake

James Coates

James Coates connects with listeners using small-town songs with big-city sounds, performing a signature blend of Funky Country & Americana Soul. His band’s sonic tapestry includes drums, bass, guitar, keys, a horn section, and James’s soulful, raspy vocals. Coates inspires with beautiful original songs and entertains with unexpected covers, pleasing both the heart and the ears.
