Event Overview
Seattle will host the premiere of Second Acts Live, a groundbreaking new live show hosted by two-time WNBA All-Star and sports analyst Chiney Ogwumike. The inaugural show will feature WNBA Hall of Famer Sue Bird, sharing her journey of how she has transformed into one of the architects of the growth of women’s sports.
– Story-Driven: Bird’s career and next chapter unfold as a modern epic, told in a theatrical format that elevates her personal journey into a larger-than-life narrative.
– Visual Spectacle: The production draws from the language of theater, using immersive staging, multimedia, and dramatic design to transform a sports story into an unforgettable live experience.
– Shared Experience: With Bird on stage in her home city, the audience becomes part of the celebration, connecting to her story together as fans and community.
Bird said: “Seattle has been such an important part of my life so getting to do Second Acts Live here is really special. I can’t wait to sit down with Chiney, open up a little, and celebrate what comes after basketball.””
Following Seattle, Second Acts Live will travel to other U.S. cities, including shows with Adrian Wojnarowski (Philadelphia, October) and Michael Vick (Atlanta, December), with a national tour planned for 2026.
