ASAE is the Center for Association Leadership, the largest national group representing the interests of association leaders.

Be part of a national network, entirely on a private Facebook Group.  You must have 10+ years experience as a professional planner.  Application is easy.  If accepted, then you will have the opportunity to get perspectives from other planners around the country.

The Events Industry Council is an organization made of organizations.  Its members are all membership organizations representing every facet of the Meetings & Events industry.  It is also a certifying organization for professionals in the field.  There is a great library of online courses and webinars for continuing education.  Anyone can create an account to access this resource.

Membership for students as low as $25.  Dues for individual professional membership starts around $225/year.  Companies can also join for all their event professionals.

JMIC represents the global business events industry.  Established in 1978, JMIC membership is reserved for international industry groups.  It is an umbrella organization of organizations.  There are no local chapters.

JMIC fulfills the critical function of helping to measure the meetings and events industry, to identify needs and trends, and to bring forward information for policy makers.

SISO is an international membership organization without chapters, a voice for for-profit show organizers.  CEOs and executives from industry leading companies come together a few times per year in-person.

NEWH was originally a networking resource for women in hospitality.  It has grown into an international professional organization with a chapter in Vancouver, BC.

NWES produces the region's largest and longest running trade show dedicated to the Meetings & Events industry with over 300 business exhibitors.  Event planners and organizers from leading companies and corporations come to see what's new, to reconnect, and to learn.
